The 80s
Out of a college apartment at UCLA and into the world, Loren Data quickly established itself as a national presence by developing all the operational software for Patrick Media Group (now Clear Channel Outdoor).
Pioneering development on PCs and Novell Netware, Loren Data repeated proved that network computing easily rivaled tools available on even the most elaborate corporate mainframe system.

The 90s
With a US Air Force contract to develop the Electronic Commerce Purchasing System in hand (F41999-92-C-6120), much of the 90s were spent developing government-related commerce systems.
In 1994, Loren Data delivered the first email-based subscription service for the Commerce Business Daily (now FBO Daily).
World-Wide EDI became the first DoD certified, web-based EDI system in 1997.

The 21st Century
ECGrid® was conceived and implemented as the first, true wholesale EDI interchange routing and interconnect infrastructure.
Major industry players such as IBM, GXS, SPS Commerce and Covisint have used ECGrid to quickly, efficiently and reliably support their customers.
With the release of ECGridAS2 and ECGridOS, the power of the ECGrid platform extends further into the system integrator and developer communities.
